Angling Unlimited Coventry
Angling Unlimited started its Coventry programme in 2008 with the aimof increasing angling participation, and assisting with set-up for new angling clubs, youthmatches and junior teach-in’s for themore specialised areas of angling. We work very closely with a number of fisheries to develop safe, easily accessible, fishing venues that can be enjoyed by all.
Coventry offers the same help and support to individuals and groups offered centrally, for young and old, those starting out and those seeking to improve, and those who need a little extra help and support to participate in the nation’s favourite pastime. Within each activity, clear performance pathways are created with constant support given to all participant levels.
Already there are Open College Network courses delivered; these courses use angling as a tool to gain educational qualifications, build IT skills, and improve self-esteem and confidence.
A morning Saturday Club for young people has proven hugely popular at Lavender Hall Fishery near Coventry.
Coventry caters for a wide range of angling led activities. Whether it is for education, recreation or progression as an angler into match or specimen challenges, Coventry offers something for everyone.
